Additional ComputerTime FeaturesBelow are features of ComputerTime not visible through the program itself. To invoke the feature do one of the following while logged onto a Windows Administrator account:
ComputerTime:ClearTokens Remove all Tokens including any Tokens already applied and in use. This is helpful if someone has created or obtained Tokens without your consent and you want to remove them. ComputerTime:ClearSettings Remove all ComputerTime settings including profiles, time limits, and history of usage. Note that the ComputerTime Admin password will be required. On rare occasions, Support will suggest this to clear up a problem with the settings and start fresh. ComputerTime:SetPref::TurnOffAllWarningSounds Turn off the time-remaining audio warning messages (i.e. The spoken phrases such as "You have 15 minutes left."). ComputerTime:SetPref::TurnOnAllWarningSounds Turn on the time-remaining audio warning messages (i.e. The spoken phrases such as "You have 15 minutes left."). Countdown Warning Only (All Windows Users) ComputerTime:SetPref::OnlyCountdownWarning For all Windows users, show only the countdown time-remaining warning and not warnings at 15, 10, 5, 1 minute. Warnings at 15 and 1 Minute (All Windows User) ComputerTime:SetPref::WarningsAt15and1Minute For all Windows users, show only time-remaining warnings at 15 and 1 minute and the countdown instead of the default of 15, 10, 5, 1 minute and the count down. All Warnings (All Windows Users) ComputerTime:SetPref::LM::S::WarningsAt::15;10;5;1;C For all Windows users, show all of the time-remaining warnings including 15, 10, 5, 1 minutes and the countdown. Note that you can control exactly which warnings are displayed by editing the "15;10;5;1;C" portion in the command (where C is for the countdown). This is the default. Warnings at 1 Minute (Current Windows User Only) ComputerTime:SetPref::CU::S::WarningsAt::1 For the current Windows user only, show only the 1 minute time-remaining warning instead of the default of 15, 10, 5, 1 minute and the count down. All Warnings (Current Windows User Only) ComputerTime:SetPref::CU::S::WarningsAt::15;10;5;1;C For the current Windows user only, show all of the time-remaining warnings including 15, 10, 5, 1 minutes and the countdown. ComputerTime:SetPref::ShowAwayOnScreenSaver When the screen saver starts, the ComputerTime Away feature is automatically started. This prevents the loss of time when not at the computer. ComputerTime:SetPref::DoNothingOnScreenSaver When the screen saver starts, do not log off ComputerTime and do not show the Away screen. ComputerTime:SetPref::ShowLogonOnScreenSaver When the screen saver starts, log off ComputerTime. This prevents the loss of time when not at the computer. This is the default. ComputerTime:SetPref::DialogWarnings Display time-remaining warning messages as a window with an OK button instead of the default ballon-style warnings that don't require any action to dismiss. ComputerTime:SetPref::BalloonWarnings Display time-remaining warning messages as a balloon tip from the Windows tray near the ComputerTime icon. This is the default. ComputerTime:SetPref::DisableAway Disable the Away feature on the ComputerTime menu so it cannot be used. For some families, the Away feature is a problem if one child leaves ComputerTime in "Away" mode and another child needs to use the computer. ComputerTime:SetPref::EnableAway Enable the Away feature on the ComputerTime menu so it can be used. ComputerTime:SetPref::CU::D::MinuteIncrement::1 In ComputerTime Admin on some settings screens, there are up/down buttons to change minute settings by increments of 15. This will change that to 1 minute increments. Note that you can always type in the minutes instead of using the up/down buttons. ComputerTime:SetPref::LM::D::ShowResolutionWarning::0 Do not display a warning message if your screen resolution is below 800x600 when ComputerTime Admin starts even though some screens will be cut off. ComputerTime:SetPref::LM::D::ShowResolutionWarning::1 Display a warning message if your screen resolution is below 800x600 when ComputerTime Admin starts as some screens will be cut off. This is the default. |
