Do I Pay a Monthly Fee for ComputerTime?

No.

When you purchase ComputerTime, you pay a one-time fee that allows you to ComputerTime for as long as you like.
In addition, you get free updates as we improve the product and provide fixes.

There are some additional, optional features that are called Add-Ons. These may be purchased separately, depending if you need those new features. We want ComputerTime to be affordable for people who have simpler needs, and yet be able to offer more features to those who need them, or incrementally want to add them as their needs change.

For example, you can purchase ComputerTime for a single computer. Then if you add additional computers to your home, you can purchase the Family Pack Add-On, and if you want to start limiting Internet time separately from computer time, you can purchase the Internet Add-on.

Once these Add-Ons are purchased, you are entitled to use them for years. ComputerTime and it’s Add-Ons are purchased for your use, they are not subscription-based.

    If I buy the Family Pack add-on, how many “kids” can I set up a profile for? What if I have 20 computers and I wish to restrict time on each?

      The Family Pack allows you to install and activate ComputerTime on all of your computers. (Please note this is meant for use in a home only. For commercial use, please contact us at sales@softwaretime.com. We offer discounts for non-profits.)

      With or without the Family Pack, you can create as many ComputerTime Profiles (one per user) as needed.

    Hi, I purchased computer time and my child was able to disable or delete the program. I would like to retry but forgot my admin password. Is there anything i can do to remedy this? Could you help please.978-827-XXXX if you want to call.

    Hello

    I have downloaded the 14 day trial of your software to see if it will work for our families purposes. I have some questions…

    We have two computers (kids) that we want to limit. They are not “networked” together but sit next to each other and use the same wifi connection. If I purchase the Family Pack would I simply install on each computer and enter a key or code that connects to one account?

    Is there a way to monitor the computers on my computer without networking them together? I am not very computer savvy so I am not sure I could figure out how to network them together and my concern is that if I make my computer the server and I am out of town then they would not be able to use their computers?

    I simply want to limit their daily usage (30 mins) and set parameters on time of day they can use that 30 mins.

    I hope these questions make sense and are understandable.

      Nate, as emailed, you should purchase “ComputerTime plus Family Pack Add-On and Internet Add-On”, and you will receive one Product Key used to activate both computers. If the computers are not networked together, there is no way for you to monitor them without walking up to each computer and open the ComputerTime Admin program on each.
